An adventure motoring raid will happen from July 09 to August 10, linking the capital cities of Luanda (Angola) and Maputo (Mozambique), ANGOP learnt today.
The raid, to be carried out by 10 Angolans, will begin at Mussulo Island, in the Angolan capital, and will follow a 10.500 kilometres route, passing through Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana.
The raid ends at the Golden Island, in Mozambique and will be supported by four vehicles - one UNIMOG truck, Nissan Patrol (2) and Toyota Land Cruiser (l) - which will be driven by Carlos Oliveira, Cândido Carneiro, Heleno Marques and Nelson Cardoso, respectively.
This will be the first adventure raid to be organised by Angolans.
